Research shows that most medical staff don't wash their hands correctly, even though they believe they do.
This makes the incidence of Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) extremely high in South Africa.
We invited Life Healthcare staff to paint their hands for pieces of artwork.

The process of washing paint from their hands allowed them to see how much care is needed to make hands clean and safe for patients.

The murals were painted at hospitals across the country and served to show Life Healthcare's commitment to hand hygiene.
